A series of random thoughts

I have decided to write this blog as a series of random thoughts as opposed to writing it in story form.  As such each of the subsequent blogs will be disjointed, but hopefully can stand on their own. When I eventually write the book (outline forthcoming) it will be placed in a good story format, but for now I just want to capture ideas, so each of my blogs will be snippets of information that will eventually find their way into my book.

An Ordinary Point in Time

It all started for me on December 30 1959. A Wednesday like all other Wednesdays that have gone before it or after.  It was an ordinary day and I am an ordinary man. And this story is a story of an ordinary family living their ordinary lives .... but what an extraordinary trip this has been for me.

I was born in Rome Hospital in Rome NY. Wednesday's child is full of woe...but this story isn't about me ... not really. This is about my family and how my siblings and I came to be. This is a story that is told at the end and then works backward through time. Although actually it probably jumps around quite a bit as we shall see.

This is a story about people, places and things.  About roots.

But every story needs a beginning and since I am writing this, then we might as well begin with me.
